At Zen Physio Inc., we are committed to providing you with quick and effective care. Our policy is to connect with all new patients and schedule your first appointment within 24-48 hours of your initial call. This ensures that your needs are addressed promptly, helping you begin your recovery as soon as possible.
To make the most of your first appointment, we’ll send all necessary forms via email in advance, so your session is focused on therapy rather than paperwork.

Initial Assessment
Whether you visit our clinic or receive a home visit, your physiotherapist will meet you at the scheduled time for a comprehensive assessment.
Review of Medical History
Your physiotherapist will discuss your medical history and current symptoms. Expect questions such as:
What symptoms are you experiencing?
When did these symptoms begin?
Are they the result of an injury or fall?
Have you experienced similar symptoms before?
Have you received physiotherapy for this issue previously?
Examination
Your physiotherapist will assess your strength, flexibility, and mobility to help identify the cause of your symptoms. This may include range-of-motion tests, strength assessments, and functional movements.
Diagnosis & Treatment Plan
After the examination, your physiotherapist will explain the probable cause of your symptoms and how they will treat them. Together, you’ll set clear recovery goals and discuss a treatment plan tailored to your needs, including the frequency and duration of sessions.
Home Exercise Plan
If applicable, your physiotherapist will provide a customized home exercise plan to support your recovery between visits.
Follow-Up Appointment
The last step of your first visit will be scheduling your follow-up appointment to continue your journey toward recovery.

Payment: Payment is due when services are rendered. We accept E-transfer, Cash, or Credit Card.
Direct Billing: We offer direct billing to most insurance companies for your convenience.
Receipts: A receipt for services is sent via email after each visit for insurance claims or personal records.
